Aircon price survey in Singapore: what companies publish for servicing
The headline finding is how differently companies print the same service. 66 companies publish a general servicing rate for one indoor unit, some per unit, some per job and some printed without a unit. 20 of them are "From" prices. None of these one-unit rates needs a minimum, but many companies also publish lower per-unit rates that apply only when you book several units.

Method: one lowest published rate per company
Every figure here is a company's own published rate, quoted as printed and linked to its source. Where a company lists several matching lines, only its lowest one is used, so each company counts once. You can read more about how HomezyPro collects prices.
There are no averages, because an average would mix lines priced per unit, per job and printed without a unit. Each block gives the lowest and highest published rates and, where one exists, a middle rate a real company prints.
With an odd number of companies, the middle figure is the middle company's own rate. With an even number, a middle is shown only when both middle rates are equal. When they differ, you see only the lowest and highest.

A per job rate and a per unit rate are different measures, so ask how many units a per job rate covers, and ask what a line printed without a unit includes. A "From" figure is a starting point, and the charge for your job can be higher. If you have several units, read servicing cost by number of units.

The low end includes multi-unit prices: one line, "Chemical wash, 2+ units (price each)", is S$50 per unit, and others apply only to 3+ or 6+ fan coils.
How GST is shown
Of the 66 general servicing lines, 62 do not say whether GST is included, 3 say GST is excluded or added, and 1 says it is included. Chemical wash is similar: of 38 lines, 35 do not say, 2 say GST is excluded and 1 says it is included. For aircon price transparency, GST is the detail most lines leave out.
The Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) explains that not all businesses are registered for GST, and only GST-registered businesses may charge it. GST-registered businesses should display final prices that include GST and may not publish prices without it. IRAS also has an e-Service to check whether a business is GST-registered.

Why do some aircon prices say "From"?
